Hair Straightener....?

Hi everyone, does anyone know of a good hair straightener?? See, I am half black and half mexican. I grew up with my mexican side. Unfortunately I have never learned how to do anything to my hair and I have alot of hair and it is very curly.I have the type of hair that if you blow dry it it turns frizzy not straight. I am considered to have ';black'; hair but very thick. Can anyone help. And if possible a straightener that I dont have to place in a stove, maybe one that is electronic because I have burnt my hair and skin so many times with the stove ones. I am willing to pay up to 400$ for a good straighener. Thanks in advanceHair Straightener....?
the top hair straightners are:

GHD - for any hair types - 6 second heat up - electronic

Remington

Tresseme

Babyliss

for better results use hair straighning creams or mousse for your hair

and go to the hair dresser and get your hair thinned.Hair Straightener....?
Fantasia Frizz Control. This works very good on frizz and straightening out your hair. It comes in a clear bottle with a purple top. You can get this at a beauty supply store (preferably a black beauty supply store). It works real good on my hair when I was doing it and it controls frizz. It's not a heavy oil, very light and no oily build up which is good.

If you need a good straightening iron try Revlon. It go a Revlon iron from Wal-Mart and it straightens my hair out real good. The only thing is is that you may want to keep your settings low since you have a curly hair texture to prevent it from burning or scorching your hair. If you want an iron without lots of heat go for a ceramic iron. They cost more, but they are worth it.

Hope this helps
If you'd like to loosen your curl pattern, consider relaxing your hair. The Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Relaxer is one that is available at most retailers like Walmart or Sally's beauty supply. It is inexpensive but very gentle and great for sensitive scalp. Also, the CHI brand of flat iron is the best. The ceramic plates help reduce the damage of the hair shaft while bringing out the shine in your hair. Happy hunting!
go get it done perfetioally...let them put a relaxer in your head..but let a professional do it...
Try Remington Wet2Straight straighnter. It's cheap ($30) but it works wonders. I have very thick, curly/wavy, poofy/frizzy hair. 20 minutes later I have straight soft hair. You can get it at Wal Mart. I highly reccomend it. If it doesnt work, you can go out and buy a really expensive one. What is ironic is that my straightner works way better than my stylists straigtner and her's cost $200. Mine actually straightens hair, hers just takes out the waviness. Big difference. Think about it. :-)
u missed the products that's been available long time ago. please check out at wal-mart or target , they sell a variety of electronic hair straigtener. Best of all ion your hair at the salon. it will last average 6 months.
I have frizzy and wavy hair but I hate it.I use ceramic hairstyling iron to straighten my hair. I paid $130 but you can get one for a $100 on sale. They sell them in stores like Bed Bath and Beyond or JcPenney. Also, use Biosilk silk therapy. It'll make your hair soft, silky, and smooth. I'm providing you links to the products I use:

Hope this helps, good luck with your hair! By the way, the iron is electronic. I had tried other products for my hair but my hair is very stuborn and blow drying did not help me. However, I finally found a product that helped my hair. It works great! Trust me.
get one that you can use with damp hair because its spose to be healthier for your hair besides. to prevent heat damage from teh straightener, get vo5 leave in conditioner, its spose to help against heat damage, it also kinda acts liek a straightener too....ive straightened a couple of my friends hair with only that a couple of times, or you can also get a spray that straightens hair , a gel to keep the hair stragiht and frizz free. the easier, less time consuming way would be to get a straight perm.

give it a shot!
i love my Sedu straightener! definitely go with a ceramic straightener b/c its better for the hair. check out this site, its where i got mine. they have a bunch of reviews and stuff.

Hair Art makes a good one and Paul Mitchell too. You just need to find one with a heat of up to 400 degrees and only one inch in size. If you put a straightening conditioner and straightening serum in your hair before you dry then it will be easier to straighten and use a cocnut oil grease on your scalp to add moisture, it helps the style stay too. Take small half inch sections and go slow down the hair.
the chi flat iron is the greatest!
