Hair straightener question??? 10 pts?

okay for the THIRD time

what is the difference between CERAMIC and TOURMALINE?

which is better and why? please don't just say ';ceramic is better'; explain your answer well and i will give you best answerHair straightener question??? 10 pts?
Tourmaline plates produce a greater number of negative ions than do ceramic plates. Negative ions straighten your hair for far longer and give it a silkier, shinier look. These straightners often have more gadgets and gizmo's then a normal ceramic straighterner. Meaning that they are more expensive, but if you're thinking of buying a flat iron you should try to buy a flat iron with plates that have been plated with tourmaline.

Ceramic heating elements have constant heat, with a very fast heat up time (less than 10 seconds). Ceramic plates prevent heat damage, and unlike the Tourmaline straighteners, ceramic straightners can be found almost anywhere at a lower price. the heavier and more dense the plates are the better. I recomend the well known CHI 1'; ceramic plate straightener.

Both plates are very similar, and your hair will be safe with either one.Hair straightener question??? 10 pts?
There are not many differences between the ceramic hair iron and the tourmaline flat iron, as they almost do the same job. But some of the noticeable differences.

Tourmaline flat irons produce great number of negative ions, which strengthens the hair for long, and also gives a silkier and shinier look. Whereas, the ceramic hair iron does not give as many negative ions as tourmaline flat irons, this is necessary to keep your hair healthy and silky.

The hair straighteners which have ceramic plates, prevents your hair from the damage which is caused due to heat. Tourmaline flat irons does this job well, as it produces more negative ions, to give you to smooth, shiny and silky hair, that you always wanted to have.

The tourmaline flat irons are infused with ceramic heater and plates, to give you better results. But ceramic hair irons, are not infused with tourmaline plates or the heater.

Tourmaline flat irons are relatively cheaper to the ceramic hair irons.

Tourmaline flat irons are said to take just 25 seconds to straighten your hair, whereas the ceramic hair irons takes slightly longer time. It takes me about 5 minutes to straighten my hair with a ceramic iron (I have long hair).

Though tourmaline flat irons gives you better results than the ceramic hair irons, people prefer the ceramic hair irons the most.
ok this is ez lol-ceramic heats up more evenly and faster and provides more even flatironing to your hair leaving it more healthy tourmaline does the complete opposite say u dired your hair w a blow dryer/ and use the ceramic it will go over the wet hair without too much damage and the Tourmaline -well it will brun
Ceramic is better.

because other types will RUIN your hair.

also, to make your hair straighten better and protect it from the heat, i highly recommend Aquage. it makes my hair super straight, and i have no damage :pp

any more questions, email me :)
tourmaline controsl fly aways. its a cehmical that acts as an anti frizz. and helps control the flyaways. Ceramic is bad for long term use. most cheap flat irons are made of it. but it can really fry the ends of your hair.

hope i helped!
Ceramic is the better deal.

Ceramic won't burn or fry your hair like tourmaline will.

It basically keeps your hair alot nicer and doesn't fry it.

Ceramic is a lot gentler on your hair strands, will protect them better. Tourmaline is more likely to cause breakage, although both will damage your hair to some extent.
