Hair Straightener.....?

I am looking to buy a good quality Hair Straightener. Is it true that certain types/brands do not damage your hair as badly? If anyone knows ';the'; brand to buy...it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Hair Straightener.....?
Steam straighteners! Good ceramic straighteners...usually like 100 to 300 dollars Cdn. A smaller one is good to get straight to the roots in appose to the larger ones.

ps you can use sprays or someting to protect yoru hair from heat damage, just chekc ur drugstore hair section.Hair Straightener.....?
yes, its true that certain TYPES of hair straighteners damage your hair. But, if you buy a hair straightener that has ceramic plates, it'll leave your hair feeling silky, and won't damage it.

hope i helped!
The straightener that i use is an ion...it helps with frizz and really does a great job. i don't know any straighteners that don't damage hair as much...i think it's more about how high you turn the heat up to??
I think wet2straight is great :)
I use a Conair and it's great!
A chi is the best one.But they cost alot, If you go to a store and look at them pick it up and see how heavy it is the heavier the better, make sure its ceramic. To get a good decent one i would spend about 50$ on one. The 15 dollar conair at walmart or something will damage your hair.
I've owned a few hair straighteners in my time and GHD's have came out on top so i would say those good luck x
