sedu
I also say CHI! i have one....have had it for about 3 years, still works great, and my friends son was playing with it and swung it into a wall and it has a huge chunk of plastic missing out of the side, right next to the ceramic plate....and it still works great! So, whoever said CHI doesnt work after a while, is wayyyy offf!!
my straightener works like a charm-i got mine at walmart for about $27 and it's a remington wet to straight...it's about 4'; wide and gets alot of hair so it takes just a short amount of time to do! it has 30 heat settings so the hotter it is, the shorter it takes! but it does burn your hair so i wouldn't keep it on one part for a long period of time!

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron

From CHI

Buy new: $73.29

Product Description

Chi Original 1'; Farouk CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Model GF-1001 The CHI can be considered

one of the most versatile Hairstyling Irons on the market today. The CHI's ergonomic

design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist.

The CHI is ideal for straightening and smoothing the hair while the ceramic plates seal

in natural moisture. It's great to use prior to a Dry Haircut. The ceramic coated paddles

help prevent scorching hair color and helps reduce styling product build-up. Featuring an

extra long swivel cord to prevent tangling, the CHI has a concealed on-off switch inside

the handle to prevent accidentally turning the unit off when in use. The heat paddles are

recessed from the edges to prevent skin burns. Will automatically heat up in less than 10

seconds. Temperature is preset at 150-180 degrees Celsius(302-356 degrees Fahrenheit)

Chis are amazing. I got one for my b-day this year, and it makes my hair soo smooth and straight. The only bad thing about it though is that when you touch your hair, you might burn your hand, since it makes your hair hot, so be sure to use a heat protecant. I got mine at trade secret for 120$ and they gave me a shampoo, conditionner, and heat protectant(full sized) FREE!
CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

Never use on wet hair.

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

68 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1202 total reviews.

Sedu:

21 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3775 total reviews.

That speaks for itself!

If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.

Take a look at this.

Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!
well ive never spent more than fifty on a straightener

but i got mine at................wal mart

and it is actually really good.

idk dont doubt the cheaper stuff

because u nevr know
if you have long, thick, coarse hair like i do. Corioliss makes a great flat iron, bought it at sally's for about $60...it goes to like 410 and does a great job, even holds good in humid weather...I stay in houston
sally beauty

they have the biggest range of sizes, brands, wet/dry, ion, and even colors from anywhere from 20-250 dollars.

have fun = D
I would get a ceramic by Revlon. That is what i use and it works very well! They come in many sizes. Usually 20 to 60 $ depending on the size! Sallys beauty supply has them!
GHD hair straightener from Sephora

don't get the CHI cause after a little while it doesn't work

also I heard the Sedu works good
