is it quite common for the hair straightener to snap hair offHair straightener?
No, if the straighteners are breaking your hair then you've turned them up to too high a heat setting or are leaving them on your hair too long so you're burning your hair! check that the straighteners are working properly and don't use them on damaged hair. these videos should help you:

yes
what do you eman snap like when you use it , the part of the hair you straightned is now in the floor with the other peices of hair then you need to but another one.. that less cheaper maybe
nope
Don't think so, I've only ever straightened my hair once but it didnt snap off
No its not common at all for your hair to just snap off! Straightners DO give really bad split ends and your hair can be scorched by the heat of it causing it fall off. Use it with caution. If you have thin, silky hair use a lower temperature if you have thick, ethnic hair you should use a higher temperature. I straighten my hair all the time and it hasn't caused much if any damage. I do have a few split ends but thats natural. Good luck!
