Are you talking about going to a salon to have your hair straightened, or buying one of those ';reverse curling iron'; things? JCPenney's salon has the ';Chi'; hair straightener on sale right now -- I saw it in a circular. I think it was $119, then there was also a $10-off coupon.





I believe Sally's Beauty Supply has a hair straightener that is supposed to be as good as a Chi, but much less expensive. (I don't know anyone who has actually used it, this is just what the sales lady told my sister.)





Do some research, and make an educated choice when buying one.
$300 bucks and you spend it all on crappy hair stuff and clothing. Why don't you do yourself a favor and invest it or put in a bank or just let it grow and save for a necessity that you need not something that you want.

Old School knows the answer to this question. I'm a guy, and I'm NOT gay, and yet know about this. At a beauty supply place, POSNER'S hair straightener. Get a friend, and do it at home. The worst you'll be left with, is straight hair, and $290 left for clothes. Your friend can get 'props', for your new look.
