Hair straightener issues!!!!?

I recently just broke my hair straightener and I want a new one. I have very thick hair and I need one that can heat up to about 200 degrees. I want the Conair Infiniti. But I am not sure if it is right for me. Would it be good for people who have thick hair??Hair straightener issues!!!!?
Conair is really bad. Once I bought a hair straightener from them and it pulled out my hair and hurt really bad, and in the end it didn't even straighten my hair one bit, it only made it staticy. Also, I bought a hair dryer from conair and it suddently just stopped working. :/

Now I have a straightener from Sally's Beauty Supply, called GVP and it works really goood!!!! It makes your hair SO silky and straight. Buy it, it's really good. :)Hair straightener issues!!!!?
I HAVE VERY THICK CURLY HAIR AND FOR YEARS I COULDNT FIND ANYTHING TO STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR EVEN THE CHI WHICH WAS OVER $100...

REMMINGTON WET2STRAIGHT IS A MIRACLE AND ITS ACTUALLY REALLY CHEAP! MY BOYFRIEND IS AFRICAN AMERICAN AND HE USED TO HAVE AN AFRO AND ONE TIME I USED MY WET2STRAIGHT ON HIS HAIR AND IT WORKED REALLY WELL...
