heya i was gonna get that straightener, and i posted the same question as you and there were too many bad reviews for the product. I just ignored it and asked for the straighteners for my birthday but instead i got a s9901 straight in a stroke remington hair straightener which is amazing. My hair to is very thick and these straighteners are really fast and the temperature adjust to your hair type, trust me these hair straighteners are amazing!!!!!!!!!!
A wet to straight hair straightener? I've never heard of this - but it sounds bad if you use it on your wet hair. Sounds insanely damaging. Technically, you're supposed to have your hair completely dry before you straighten because any kind of moisture will draw your hair back to it's natural state. I would suggest using another type of ceramic straightener that's normal (and perhaps cheaper?)

Go to ulta and get a Chi. They also have a wet to straight flat iron. Make sure it is ceramic.

Chis are a little more expensive, but worth the money. When you go there you can also ask one of the salon employees and they will tell you which products and flat irons work best.

Also, since you are buying the wet to straight kind, make sure your hair is damp, not wet because it would really damage your hair if it is wet.

I would suggest to just wait until it is dry.

Hope this helps :)
I have thin kinda straight hair %26amp; it doesn't work for mine. my sister got one a few months ago %26amp; when i tried it it made my hair really poofy %26amp; frizzy when i straightened it damp and it kinda worked when i did it try %26amp; this was on the highest setting (30) If you are going to get it then you should get slim so you can also flip your hair or curl but yeah we returned it because it did not work at all ):
not unless you want to throw your money away check out ulta they have salon quality for a reasonable price
