My hair straightener is really crappy. Is there a certain type that works best for thick wavy hair?Hair Straightener?
I have thick wavy hair too! =)
You need a straightner that will not take much time, damage your hair much less, and leave it silky, smooth, and perfectly straight. Those ones are more expensive but totally worth it.
I think you should consider the Sedu Tourmaline/Ceramic Straightener. I researched and researched and discovered that the Sedu was my best bet. I've been using it for a month now and it is amazing!
Other great ones are the GHD, Chi, Hai, and Solia. Many of my friends use the Chi and Hai and the results are impressive. I've heard many people say the Chi doesn't last too long, plus it doesn't have adjustable temperature (GHDs don't either). GHDs are mainly UK based.
I hope I've given you enough information to research and decide on your own. =]
Feel free to ask me if you have any questions!
Good Luck!Hair Straightener?
Ceramic straighteners work best. They make your hair look very shiny and healthy. Mine cost $70, but that's an awesome price for the quality of the product. It works wonders on my hair!
for a good quality one, you'll have to spend about $100...go to http://www.folica.com and look up solia hair straighteners...i bought one almost 3 years ago and it's still going strong!
I'm not sure which one you have but the best is a chi or a ghd. both are very expensive and you will probably have to go thru a prof salon to get one.Or if you know someone with a cosmetology license they can get you one. but they will straighten the curliest of hair and they heat up quickly.
Chi.
I have the best ones for you. I have Remington straighteners that my friend - who has naturally thick hair uses and now her hair is soooo nice. I live in the UK so i guess they should have them anywhere. I got mine from Argos, dont know if u have them in the states but if you see any then they are your answer!!
My hairs like yours and I use a conair straightener. It's model CS15JCSZ and it makes me hair pin straight and eliminates any frizz.
I reccomend Conair. It works great for many people I know. Just don't by the kinds that have more than 2 functions because they don't seem to work as well. A tip is to also add de-frizz mouse to help keep you hair more sleek and smooth. Good Luck!
my hair is wavy, but i'm not sure what brand is the best.
but i have a conair one.
ive had an alright revlon one but i would try http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=/a> it worked really good on my hair and its thick n curly
chi its expensive but worth it!
i use ';chi'; my hair is think and wavy
I bought one 1 year ago that my 2 sisters and I use. It is a chi and was about $120 dollars. All 3 of us have very think long hair, and my is kinky too, but your hair is straight in like 40 mins. You juss need to find one in your budget, and stay away from stores like Ulta and Sally's because they market flat irons up way to high.
Folica.com always has good ones.
try conair?
