CHI CHI AND CHI! It's the best of the best! It's expensive around $100-$200 but it's so worth it! I've had mine for a long time and still works as good as the day I got it! The first one is the one I have but the second one is a variety of different kinds.

I have a chi. It not only straightens, but curls, flips and styles. I love it. It makes your hair so silky and beats fly aways.

It is expensive, but worth it.



Also any conair straighteners work pretty welly. I recommend iionic with floating plates though.

Get a Sedu. They have tourmaline plates instead of ceramic, which are said to damage your hair less! It also doesn't pull out your hair like other straighteners, glides really smoothly along the hair and heats up really fast (under a minute to full temperature)!

I always have loved my GHD but my friend has just recently bought the new VS Sassoon Goddess straightener , it has steam as well as ceramic heaters and I was in love with results after trying hers..I have dry thick curly hair and was straightened in one pass . I got one last week and I'm loving it ! after using my hair feels softer and more shiny than before. Mine is a DaVinci. The lady at the store said it was better than a Chi. And I have to agree. My hair is extremely sensitive and thick, so I have to straighten it at the highest setting, which normally kills my hair, but not this one.
FHI!! expensive, but worth it. Use it a ton and doesn't damage my hair. Heats up in about a minute, and leaves it shiny! =-D
