Pre-hair straightener products?

Any ideas for sprays or creams or whatever that you put in your hair prior to use a straightening iron, to make the whole process smoother or easier or whatever.Pre-hair straightener products?
I use sleek.look smoothing system by Matrix. It helps protect my hair against the heat, makes the straightening easier, and holds the straightening for longer. Plus it has a nice but discreet smell! Some that I've used in the past smell nasty... It can also be used with a curling iron, waffle iron, etc.Pre-hair straightener products?

I wouldn't recommend V05 Straightening Gel. It doesn't work at all.





Chi has some products that I've heard work well, although I haven't tried any yet.





There are a ton of products out there, try going to a beauty supply store and asking what works best for your hair type.
if youre looking for inexpensive the purple bottle of the sunsilk hairapy works really good before straightening. also try going to a beauty store to get a thermal protectant in addition to it to prevent breakage
I just got a perm a month ago, and sometimes i like to straighten my hair, so if you want good heat protection and to make it straighter use Loreal Paris studio line hot straight- heat protection (pink bottle)
The absolute best is a product called Straighten Out from FX Special effects. You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart, etc. You'll love it!
