I want to get a hair straightener/curler. Like a 2 in one thing. But I have average-thick hair and it's VERY stubborn. So I need a really good one. Any suggestions on which one to get?Hair Straightener/Curler?
Bed Head have really awesome straighteners.Hair Straightener/Curler?
Sedu Flat Iron
It's not cheap - it's $100.
But it's worth it!
They say it's 100% tourmaline and it's the ONLY flat iron that doesn't 'just coat' it with tourmaline. It was voted the #1 flat iron by Allure magazine.
And unlike other flat irons, it leaves your hair silky after every use!
I'm not kidding. It doesn't fry your hair at all! It even says on the box that it doesn't damage hair.
Oh and another thing is that it's a ceramic tourmaline straightener. So yeah.
You can purchase it in a 1'; or 1 1/2';
And it's very small, so it can get in many places. Also, the 1'; curls better than 1 1/2';
I really recommend this straightener - it's well worth spending $100 as opposed to a CHI flat iron, which run for $200 and fry your hair! CHI flat irons break very easily! In 6 months or so. But i've used my Sedu for about 2 years and it still works great! Don't listen to the person above me that said CHI's are the best - they clearly aren't. Also don't get GHD!
It breaks easily and has no heat setting, and it gets wayy to hot. so then your hair frys!
So buy the Sedu!
I've used cheap straightener's from target and they suck! I got a lot of split ends from that and my hair got dry and gross.
Professional flat irons, like the Sedu, are much much better.
But Sedu is the best!
So buy it!
You can purchase one here:
www.folica.com
Just search 'sedu' in the search thing.
and click the one for $100.
But if you want better curls, you can buy the new version of Sedu flat irons.
But I don't recommend it. The old version is absolutely amazing.
It also cuts the amount of time of straightening by more than half!
like many have said, the chi is probably the best one you will find. I believe they are $100 but they're totally worth it! i went through several other straighteners that quickly broke before i got a chi and i've had no problems whatsoever for the year i've had it. My hair is wicked thick and wavy, but with the chi it just becomes fantastically straight.
with a little practice (and watching some youtube videos) you can learn how to curl your hair with a chi, but i have so far been unsuccessful. GOod luck!!
i don't know about any 2 in 1 things, but as for the straightener part, my hair's the same way, so i invested in a CHI straightener. they're the kind that salons use and they are amazinggg.
get a conair one with turbo... I have very thick long hair and it straightened my hair in like 10 minutes.... my cousin who has like frizzy hair, like an affro.... it only took 30 minutes to straighten.
ghd s have rounded designs so they can double up as curlers, not the big ones tho
hav hav a regular sized one and i use it for both and its great :)
paul mitchell or chi for hair straightener is by far the best two.
Ask the store clerks
babyliss, sleek.look or chi
well its kinda expensive but a chi will work just fine
chi
i have one from conair
