if they are not expensive then i reccomend you buy a new one or add more information to this so people can figure out exactly what happened..I own a tigi hardcore hair straightener. it was working this morning then just stopped. is it broke??
Perhaps you lost power, or it wasn't completely plugged in. Try to see if you blew a fuse. If that isn't it, buy a new straightener. I use Wet 2 Straight, which hasn't crapped out on me yet!
