You will not get a decent hair straightener for around £30 - £40.
I bought a men's hair GHD hair straightener in a Salon called Peter Mark's it cost me €115 and it was worth every cent. Sorry I'm not sure what that is in pounds about £80 I'd say.
try the vogetti black and red straighteners £45
if you have the money go for ghds though
*shrug* I don't think theres a difference from a normal straightener. But look for a ceramic one in about a one-inch width so it's easy to handle and won't kill your hair.
Don't go for Toni and Guy appliances, they are cheap with a good brand name on them, even my hairdresser thinks so and he works for them! lol.
I'd say Carmen Girls, they are pink though, but as they are for younger girls they are slightly thinner.
Apart from that, your budget is way too low to get both temperature like that AND the size you want.

Good question , it is a uni sex straightener that can be bought from Argos its from the brand Tony and guy and is a dark red colour it can get up to Around 200oC its around £28 and work extremly well with any hair type,
