thanks!Why won't my hair-straightener heat up?
i had one of those it was the worst straightener i ever had i love conairs wet to straight straighteners they get really hot and work very well... the same thing happend to my vidal sassoon straightener what happened was that the heating elements burnt up (just like a light bulb burns up) there is nothin u can do but get a new one... good luckWhy won't my hair-straightener heat up?
It's just.. broken.
Vidal Sassoon?
Doesn't ring a bell, as much as people like to say that the more expensive a product is doesn't make it better...
Chi's and other $100 or so straighteners work much better.
Edit: Oh, I just haven't heard of it then, strange.
Either way I'm still all about Chi's.
get a new straightner (i like conair) and toss your cra*ppy one away!
: )
Vidal Sassoon is a famous hairdresser, to the girl that didn't know the name! They have a range of high quality products.
Your hair straightener is broken. Invest in a new one.
there might be a short in the cord, i would try in see of the hair-straightener has some kind of warranty.
Its broken. :P
Get a new straightener. Vidal Sassoon is legendary for his hair styling, and hair products... Not so much styling tools. =/ If you're looking for a new straightener thats affordable, try the infinity straightener, by conair. It heats up within 5 or so minutes, and really does the trick. If you're looking for something super over the top, try a Chi. They're expensive, but they work.
there's probably a wire inside that is broken/worn out. Most straighteners don't last too too long, unless you get what someone else recommended, a Chi. Make sure it's ceramic.
the vidal isn't that expensive to replace. just go to target or walmart and get another, or make the investment in a nicer one.
Vidal Sassoon is probably a cheap 30-40$ straightener you got at the pharmacy, any straightener with gold plates on it is great. I agree with Chi (pricey but it's a great investment) or CERAMIX (Isinis)..Good luck
buy a new flat iron. get a chi. they are the best in town.
i had a cheap straightener that just woudn't heat up so that it worked it just got warm but then i bought one that was expensive and it works it depends how much you spent on it if its cheap its useless but if it was expensive then its probably broken
