I have really wavy, thick hair and I do my hair quite often nowadays. I'm trying to look for a good hair straightener, something that will last for a few years, since my last two died. Also, please do not recommend any expensive ones, I need a good brand that is under $30, since my parents aren't going to pay for one that is too expensive.

Andis ceramic straightener is the only good one I can think that's under $30.
You can get them at Walmart for $15.
