so i kno i shouldn't but sometimes when im in a rush, i'll straighten my hair when i already have some kinda product in it. now therees all this nastey build up on my straightener. does n e 1 kno a good way to clean it? its gettin pretty bad. and im not lookin to buy some expensive cleaner, salespeople. thanx 4 ur help!!!Hair straightener/ flat iron? Alcohol on a coton cleans it.
Don't have it on though. Make sure it's cool!

You could just wipe it off with warm water.
rubbing alcohol on a q-tip
maybe get some cheap brand hair build up products.
