Hair straightener???

For my birthday im getting a new hair striaghtener cause I have a really bad one right now. Which is the best one to buy?? And that doesn't really damage your hair??Hair straightener???
Well for one thing, you should DEFINITELY get a ceramic straightener. 100% ceramic.

a lot of people say that the Chi is the best, but it doesnt work on my hair very well, and I have REALLY hard to straighten hair. It takes me about 1 1/2 hours with the Chi, and with mine it takes about 20-30 minutes.

I got the Vidal Sassoon. It is Black and red and it is 100% ceramic.

Another one that works really well on my hair is the Coriolis Pro. Yes, it does work a little better than my own, but it is also 150 dollars more. My Vidal Sassoon cost me 50 dollars and it works great.

Hope I helped!

:)Hair straightener???
CHI is the best and the most poplur one.

You can find it on http://hairstraightenersoffer.com/index./a>
I would say a Chi. I do not have one, but the few times I've tried one ( at friends houses and aunt's) they work GREAT! I have a straightner and it works okay. My aunt's Chi straighted my hair in 4 minutes and it lasted silky straight all day. I used to never really like to wear my hair down, but once i used a chi, my hair was so silky and it was great! I actually have a Revlon straightner (30 bucks) but if you want the best, Chi is it.

For me, I wanted a really good one, but in a good price limet. Sometimes you just have to get a cheepy because, you never know, it might work fantastic on your hair. ( it's happend to my friend, she bought a cheepy and it works sooo good)

So, it really is just you and your hair. (and budget) that will make the final decision. Whatever you decide, be sure it is CERAMIC!!

Glad I could help!
a hot straightening comb sista! lol
ALl hair straigteners dmage your hair i found ceramics hairstriagteners burn your hair... even with heat protection spray. in the long ruin the best straigteners are GHDS.... tehy are good and leave your hari feeeling silky, although they are bit on the $$$$ pricey side of it but.. happybirtdhay...
I dont know whats the best kind -im guessing the expensive one- anyways a hair staightner does damage your hair though..It burns it and steam comes out...it does not make it smoother, it just makes your hair brittle and ';crunchy';, thats my theory....so good luck with your choice!
Well, you've got many straighteners, but only a few r really good. Here r some I find really good:

Chi-a high quality ceramic hair straightener. Expensive, but worth every penny. One of my favourites. It can be used for many things: straightening, curling and preparing hair for dry haircuts. High heat, leaves hair soft, silky and shiny. Straightens quickly. Basically, it can straighten anything.

Remington-quite popular these days. Not that expensive. The most famous Remington straightener is Remington wet2straight. It can straighten wet hair without as much damage. Practical. Works well with poofy, moist hair. It's great.

Revlon- Great straightener from a great hair care brand. U can never go wrong with Revlon. Very professional and used at many hair salons. Works well with any type of hair.

GHD- The most common one. U can find it anywhere. I don't really like them because they brake quickly. I'm not sure about how long it can last, sometimes it's made just from cheap plastic. But when it works, I think it's good. It's a very famous straightener brand. I think it's excellent, but I'm not really an expert on GHDs so I can't tell u in detail.

These r the best straighteners on the market. Still, if u need some help with deciding on straighteners, straightening tips and stuff like that, this is an AMAZING site!

Oh, and your last question... Straighteners can always damage. It's up to u to decide if u will let them ruin your hair. With the right care, u can straighten and use hot tools and have healthy hair. There r some really good quality products that keep hair nice and shiny. I suggest this one:

This one is excellent too, very nutritive:

Hope I helped!

Kiss!
chi

of course every straightner damages your hair to an extent...but you always have to take precautions, there are many creams and sprays out there to help this

and if you cant afford chi...always go for the ceramic ones

good luck!
Dont get a chi!! There between $100 - $200 and you can find one just as nice at a Sallys!

Of course, if you want a Chi, they are the best ones on the American market right now. If you know anyone who is a cosmetologist they can get them a whole lot cheaper at cosmoprof.
solia, solia solia!!

NEVER GET A CHI. my friends have them and they just fry their hair, and they always have to buy new ones every couple of months because they have a crappy lifespan.

solias are only in the $80's range at

www.folica.com

i recommend the sedu also

just never get a chi.

they suck :P
