i jsut cut it on this morning and it WOULDNT heat up


i freaked


should i take it apart or something

You should try it in another plug socket just to confirm that the problem is with the hair straightener. It sounds like a dumb suggestion, sure, but sometimes the extension which I use to plug in my laptop short-circuits and doesn't work. Check for any obvious problems such as exposed or frayed wires.





If, like other users have suggested, you don't have a warranty or can't get it exchanged, you can get them pretty cheaply from Superdrug, Boots or Argos. Do you still have the booklet that came with it to see if there is a warranty?


None of us on Yahoo Answers knows what happened. You need to take it to the place you bought it if it is under warranty, or talk to a parent or adult to see if they can possible fix it.


If its not under warranty, your just gonna have to buy a new one!

Don't take it apart. If you have a warranty on it, go back to where you bought it and exchange it for a new one. That's what I did when my straightener just wouldn't turn on.





If you don't have a warranty, you might want to get a new one.
is it a chi? those things are crap. just press those like ';reset'; buttons a few times if it had that on the plugger thing but yeah straighteners break a lot
