Hair straightener PACKAGING HELP?

Just bought myself a straightener %26amp; dont know if I'm keeping it yet. problem is, i want to try it %26amp; if i dont like it, return it, but the packaging is the thick plastic kind that I can only get open by cutting with scissors. if i do this, i wont be able to return it. this is what the package looks like:

I didnt get it at walgreens though, i got it at cvs %26amp; need to figure out how to get it open but be able to return it as if i never opened it if i need to ! please help- i'll pick a best answer even if all the answers suck =)Hair straightener PACKAGING HELP?
Well, ive tried doing that before. Since the package is kind of deicided in half, i cut the package in half, sideways. And it opened pretty easily. Then i noticed i had to return it and put superglue on the package. Nobody noticed! hehe.Hair straightener PACKAGING HELP?
Did they tell you that it couldn't be returned if the package were opened in a bad manner? Most places really don't care, as long as everything is with it and just include the package in the bag. They usually return it to the company to get repackaged anyways, they don't just put it back on the shelf. Call them and ask, but I have never heard of them not accepting it, just make sure you have the reciept.
