personally, i wont spend alot of money on straighteners, so i found this on that ive been using for 5 years, and when i need a new one i buy the same one lol i love it, its called the wet to straight and its balck, its at walmart and kmart and rite aid and stuff for only like 25 or 30..Best Hair Straightener for Under $35-40?
The REVLON silky smooth 1'; hair straightener, it's amazing and only around $20. It also has heat setting for all types of hair,and I recommend you get this =]
Most straightners that i've ever used around this price range have a tendency to fry hair and give it split ends.
I would try to save up and get one around $100 because it'll last you probably 4 years or more, while one that is $35 might be more likely to break and need to be replaced frequently,
but if you need one go to Sally's and price them
i have a conair. not sure which kind it is but its black and gold. i got it from walmart for $25. a like it because of the way it is shaped. it's really easy and comfortable to hold. and i have ethnic hair. it works really well on my hair and it is small.

but i also have a chi i share with my mom. its expensive, but alot better.
the revlon is like $30 maybe? for the price, it works great
