What is the best hair straightener? that isn't too expensive.?

well ive tried lots of my friends' straighteneners and none of them work on my hair cause my hair is super super curly and thick but i bought cortex and it works really well on my hair. the site says its selling for a bout 60 bucks now. they have some in different colors and i think in animal print :)

I have the CHI and it's a great straightener! If you choose to buy one at the store, it might be a little pricey from $79.99 to $120.00! I bought mine from amazon.com, and it was about $50.00! It works great and I haven't had any problems with it. The cheap ones can fry your hair easily, well so does the CHI, but not as much as the other ones do!

Chi turbo 2 inch flat iron. I have really curly frizzy hair and with this I have perfectly straight hair. The 1inch flat iron is cheaper but it also takes a lot longer since it is smaller
I bought one at Wal-Mart actually, and it only cost me about $30. I've had it for probably five years now and haven't had any trouble with it, and it's the best I've used! It's called and Andis multi-heat ceramic.

I've gone through 2 Chi's and that iron beats both of them. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than the Chi.
i know it's expensive but you've got to go for quality on this one...... ghd all the way!
