i would have to say the best hair straightner would have to be a chi. but those are quite expensive in the 200 dollar range. there is also another one that i get from my mall its called a her styler and it works great!!!!! then again thats like 100 dollars and then another good one would be from revlon thats really skinny like 1 inch. u can get it at CVS for like 30 dollars. now the best products to use in ur hair would have to be:
shampoo: herbal esscences dangerously straight.
conditioner: herbal essences dangerously straight
heat product: loreal heat protectant
frizz product: herbal essences none of your frizzness
mouse: herbal essences dangerouly straight
alternative shampoo: sunsilk straight
alternative conditioner: sunsilk straight
alternative frizzz: sunsilk straight.
im giving u my advice and im a long time straightening user and i use lots of products and i find these the best. hope i helped!!!!
-AllisonHair Straightener?
um...conair works ok...but try and put leave-in conditioner?? that works on me but idk what the best hair straightener is...
Get the hair straightened at the salon, they do chemical straightening which lasts for long. From http://hcr.in/straighten.html
i ahve wavy hair too. and i streightn my hair everyday. i have an andis streightner thats like 2 inch and its kinda curved. its amazing. i dont know how to get it or how much it is but i LOVE it. i put fekkai shine cream before i streighten [when its wet]. you can get it at bath and body. and then i use garnei shine spray after wards and it just overall makes it look, feel and smell better.
good luck.
I really love the Chi 2-inch for my medium-length wavy/sometimes frizzy hair. I've tried some cheaper ones, but they just messed up my hair %26amp; didn't even work well. I use it nearly everyday (which I know isn't great for my hair), but I do several things to protect my hair including:
1.) deep conditioning every week (I use Garnier Fructise-sp?)
2.) Redken Smooth Down
Also, make sure you buy a 1+ year warranty. My first one broke after having it a week. I haven't had any problems with the second one I bought, and I've had it for several months now. I know it seems like a lot of money, but just think of it as a new addition to your wardrobe that you'll likely wear with every outfit! Best investment I ever made! Good luck!
i use a thing called wet2straight i dont know what the real name is but that is the brand and the numbers are digital and they change colors depending on the temperature
Remington Wet2Straight
its amazing. its digital and has color coded heat settings.
before you blowdry i suggest. KMS Flat OUT. its about 19 dollars at a salon.
and after you straighten apply some kind of shine serum, your choice.
paul mitchel!

its wonderful! salon use! i love it!
i would say any straightener that is real ceramic. Don't buy a straightener at the drug store! it wont work well and it will damage your hair. If you want a good ceramic iron you wont find one for under 65$ min. After straightening your hair rub some kind of shine serum on.
I would suggest getting a chi straightener. They're expensive, but work great. If you can't afford that, Revlon and Conair are cheaper and work pretty well. Also, try to stick with ceramics, or buy a heat protector spray so it won't kill your hair.
walmart sounds cheap but they have good sturdy straightener.
Ive had mine for a bout a year and i love it.
some might say thinner works better but definitely not.
get a thicker one. it dose more hair and it just looks better.
if you have layers do each layer at a time to make it look striaghter. and i don't use products. most will leave your hair looking greasy.
if your hair gets frizzy or fly aways at top take an ice cube or a few and rub it on the hairs.
