I have naturally straight hair and want to change my boring hairstyle. I want to go for a curly ends hair look that looks natural and not too perfectly done up. I've seen many tutorials online about creating these curls using both flat iron straighteners and tong curlers.
Which one do you think is worth getting? The straighteners have ceramic coating on them which is meant to protect the hair from damage and frizzing, the curlers haven't got them (at least I think they don't) but price wise the straighteners are more expensive (yeah why is that?). So which one should I be looking out for?
My hair is thick but thinned down towards the ends.Hair straightener or curler?
the new ghd straightener has special frizz controller build in the plates (which are ceramic), it straightens and curls just as well as each other.

This year I tried to curl my (thick) hair for the first time. I went round to my friend's house to borrow her curling iron, but I found it didn't work! Instead I ended up using my straighteners and it was perfect! So go for the straighteners, as you can use them for straight AND curly. More for your money. :)
