When I first got this straightner the plates were all shinny and nice, they're ceramic, but now there are some dull spots on both plates, mediun sizes and there are some dark spots on the edges of these dull spots. It still works GREAT on my hair though, but will it cause damage in the future to my hair?

well it will cause damage to ur hair but thats not the reason
well you could just use this stuff called ssuper straight then it wont damage you hair
