Best Hair Straightener?

I'm looking for a hair straightener and I want opinions on yours. Does it keep your hair straight for a long time? Does it keep your hair healthy? Tell me the best and worst parts about it so that I know.Best Hair Straightener?
the GHD is the best straightener you can buy.... hasn't caught on in the US too much tho





even better than CHI but it's super expensive, around $280. if you are just starting out, i would get the CHI first because it's more economical than the GHD





at the very least, just make sure it has ceramic plates- those metal plates will ruin your hair. for example. CONAIR or REVLON are CRAP and they seriously damage the hair.

The best straightener is the Chi. It is more expensive, but my stylist has been using the same one for about four years now and she uses hers at least five times a day. You have to wait till your hair is dry to use it, but thats because if you straighten your hair when its wet, you have a better chance of burning it. The Chi's last, get hot fast and, they come in tons of colors styles. Also, contrary to popular belief: wider straighteners don't work better. The inch wide is the best and least likely to damage your hair.


No matter what straightener you use tho make sure you get a heat protectant spray for it too (they sell ones that have humidity protectant in them too.) . If not, it will ruin your hair. Good luck.





ps: its also better to straighten your hair before you go to bed. It always looks better when you've given it a chance to set over night
I would say Chi is the best straightener. They cost about $120. But they are worth it. It will keep my hair straight as long as i dont get it wet, and it keeps my hair healthy, which its hard to do, cause my hair is very thick. They also last a long time, my cousin has had one since she was 13, she is now 21, and it works like brand new.
Conair is pretty good.


All Straighteners don't keep your hair healthy,


they ALL damage it.


So To answer your question, no, it does not keep your hair healthy,


but yes it keeps your hair straight for a long time, but I guess it depends on how wavy your hair is in the first place.
I have both a Chi and a Solia. There supposed to be like one of the best ones out on the market. But I like my Chi better. It straightens better and stays better especially in the hot humid weather (Florida) and I have curly hair so it works really good for my hair and it makes it shiny because of the ceramic plates. Ive had it for 4 years! Its starting to break now though

hair straightners are really bad for the hair. they damage it over time. but you can buy a spray to protect your hair from the heat.

It works awesome , especially with the little built in comb thing so you dont have to brush your hair while straightening , cuuz it does it for you ! :D
the one i use is THE CHI and THE IN STYLER. they work really well and they keep my hair healthy and they last 4-5 days if you don`t wash your hair.
